I started designing and making hair accessories and baby jewelry
when I could not find anything stylish or affordable for my own
daughter.

When my daughter was a newborn, she had very little hair.
However, thanks to a gift of infant hair bows from my sister-in-law,
my daughter was able to wear a baby bow even before she left the
hospital! In fact, she never left the house without a bow for the first
year of her life!

These infant hair bows were amazing! By using the special hair gel
that came with them, I was able to get these adorable bows to stay
in my daughters barely-there hair.  We got compliments on these
bows everywhere we went, and everyone asked us where to buy
them.

Since the bows came from a store in another state and I could not
find them anywhere else, I decided to make my own when I needed
a new color. That led to others asking me to make bows for them.

When my daughter started to grow a little bit of hair and began to
outgrow the infant bows, I could not find anything at all that would
stay in her hair. When I finally found clips that would work for her (I
found them in a boutique in Los Angeles), I could not afford them
(the small clips were over $10 each).  So, I again started making
my own.

In regard to jewelry, my mother-in-law had gotten my daughter her
first bracelet, which she also wore before she left the hospital. I
loved it so much and wanted to get her a different color for her first
Christmas.  Again, I could not find what I was looking for or
everything was too expensive, so I made my own bracelet.

Things just began to grow from there.  I made accessories for
friends, who then wanted items made for their friends and so on.
After lots of encouragement from my husband and my friends and
lots of prayer, we started Bella's Blessings.

The name Bella's Blessings came to us because of the two main
reasons we started all of this: First was so that my daughter
Isabella could have cute accessories and second was to bless
others.  So that's how Bella's Blessings came to be!
